Stay Active in the Faith

Matthew 7:7

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you

You may feel sometimes that GOD has you in a holding pattern! But that doesn't mean you have to put your  spiritual life on hold. Here are just a few of the things the LORD would have us do regardless of the situation:

Keep reading . . . Heb. 4:12 “The Word of GOD is alive and powerful”

Keep praying . . . 1 Thess. 5:17 “pray without ceasing”

Keep serving . . . Serving the LORD includes serving those in need

Keep attending . . . Don’t neglect church . . . See Heb. 10:25

Keep on believing . . . 2 Tim. 3:14 “you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught”

The point is: ‘stay active’ . . . in response to that someone might say, "look I have a busier schedule than you think" - what! You cannot find time to read GOD's Word? Even just a few verses that you can meditate on during the day? And you dont have time to stop and ask the Lord to bless you and to watch over those you love? And you have no time to help someone in need? Not even in a small way? And there is no time to attend a worship service? Not even one? What about believing? Is it possible that we have run out of time to even believe? Pray to GOD that we not fall into that trap - becuase if you stop and think about it, it wouldnt take much to remain active. Someone once wrote, "You can't steer a parked car!' - it must be moving, even marginally!
