Thank you letter from Gideons International

Dear Friends,

Thank you for the opportunity to speak on behalf of Gideons International recently and I wish to thank to you for your very generous gift of $ 500 and your prayerful interest in the Lord’s work through the ministry of Gideons International. We have almost completed the school distribution for Tauranga and all the Bay of Plenty again this year and value your prayers for all those young people who have received a copy of God’s Word. We are now checking all the accommodation and medical centres placing Bibles in as many places as we can and could not do this without your support and others like you. Recently I had a phone call from “Jordan” who needed some writing paper while in a motel some years ago. Seeing a Gideon Bible he wrote a note in it, took it home retrieved his note and forgot about it. Finding the Bible, he decided to read it and rang the phone number in the front telling me of this. We had a good chat and he is keen to speak again as he read God’s Word. Please pray for this young man. Yesterday I had a call from an 81 year old Opotiki man wanting Bibles for Islanders there picking Kiwifruit.

Exciting things are happening and we are always happy to come and share with any group what our Lord is doing through Gideons International on your behalf.
