The Great Exchange

The Bible says that “ALL have sinned and come short of GOD’s standard”, yet on that amazing day in Jerusalem, when three men were being crucified as criminals, there was ONE of them who had absolutely NO SIN!

How could that be? Because His Father was GOD! He was conceived by the Holy Spirit! He was born of a virgin so that there was no chance the Baby being born could be any other than GOD’s own Son

That was the problem His enemies had when they tried to find Him guilty . . . He had done NO wrong, literally! So they finally accused Him of claiming to be equal with GOD . . . Which He was!

The key issue for His enemies was this —they chose not to BELIEVE! That even continued on the Cross. Of the two criminals with Him that day, one believed and one didn't. The one who didn't believe bore his own sins on the Cross—but the one who did believe had his sin removed from him. In fact Jesus TOOK it for him and He (Christ) bore the man’s sin for him.

THAT is what we call . . . the GREAT EXCHANGE!

What path have you chosen for your life? Which of the two criminals would you prefer to be? The one forgiven, or the one who died with his sin and was LOST?
