Treasure Hunters Bible Club

Treasure Hunters is a Bible Club for 5-12 year olds. The club is brand new to Calvary Baptist Church and is open to all children in the community. The Bible Club meets every Friday between 3:30pm and 5:30pm during the school term.

There are plenty of fun activities and games for the children but there is also a key focus on Bible lessons. 

The clubs primary purpose is to teach the children the Bible and to help them to understand what Christianity is all about and most importantly who Jesus is. We want them to see and to know God’s love for them and to help them to see that they are each special to GOD. The Biblical principles that we teach in the club are all aimed at helping them make good life choices. We aim to achieve all of this in a nurturing, friendly and fun environment. The clubs purpose is not to persuade them to attendance any particular church but rather to know who Jesus Christ is and what God meant by what He said in His Word.

There is emphasis on memorizing scripture and gaining points through achieving certain goals established throughout the year. At the end of the year Club members will meet for a special prizegiving meeting.

Parents interested in their child(ren) joing the club should contact the church or simply come along on a Friday evening and pick up an information sheet.
