The Sanctity of Life
Acts 17:16-30
There are many reasons why life is sacred. Firstly because GOD is the source of all life. John’s Gospel states [John1:3] that God created everything through Him [Jesus], and nothing was created except through Him [Jesus]. That means only He has the sovereign right to dictate how human lives should be regulated
Ezekiel 18:4 For all people are Mine to judge—both parents and children alike. Secondly humanity was created in GOD’s image. Genesis 1:27 says, so God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Our value begins with the fact that we are made a) by the hand of the Creator and b) in His very image. So when the world leaves you feeling kicked, empty, and wondering if it’s all worth it—or if we are worth it just remember that the life we have been given is precious beyond imagine.
Share this truth with someone today and remember always the sanctity [blessedness and sacredness] of life.
The Eternal King
Colossians 1:15-18
Read Colossians 1 and you will see that there is no doubt that Jesus is the Author of all Creation. And when we behold the wonder and the glory of all that Jesus created we must worship and honour Him all the more.
The truth is we live in a Christ-centered universe whether the world wants to accept this or not. Whatever it is that you see and whatever it is that you cannot see - Jesus created it all and ultimately everything answers to Him alone.
1 Timothy 1:17 tells us that He is the eternal King, the unseen One who never dies; He alone is God. Amen. More amazing than the fact that Jesus made all things - it is in Him [and through Him] that we have been reconciled to GOD. Colossians 1:19-20 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. That means that GOD was pleased to live in Christ - not in a priesthood, or an organisation or in a society, but in Jesus Christ Himself. So if you want more of GOD you must find Him in Jesus Christ, the Eternal Glorious Son of GOD.

A Heart after GOD
1 Samuel 16:1-13
GOD chose David to be king. By doing so GOD proved that you dont need the things the world holds in high regard to be used in a mighty way. You dont need to be famous, prominent, have status or even be liked by others. What GOD is looking for is a heart after His heart. Read 1 Samuel 16:1-13 to see what GOD values. In verse 7 GOD said to Samuel Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. What GOD is looking for is a heart after His own heart [see Acts 13:22]. But remember this, having a heart after GOD is not a heart the same as GOD. It is not possible for man to have a heart like GOD. The Greek word used in Acts was 'KATA' which means conformable to or in proportion to. In other words GOD is looking for men and women with a heart that has similarities to His. And to truly know what that heart looks like is to realize that all the attributes of GOD's heart were manifest in Jesus Christ [Humble | Reverent | Respectful | Trusting | Loving | Devoted | Faithful]. In other words, to be a person with heart conformable to GOD’s own heart is to simply grasp and understand and follow what Jesus did and taught in Scripture.

The Love of Jesus
Romans 5:5
Paul tells us that GOD's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. And that love was manifest in His own Son, the LORD Jesus. Mark it down, Jesus loves us. And like the first Adam, Jesus loves us becuase we [the church] literally came out of His blood pierced side just as Eve came out of Adam's blood pierced side. And the beautiful thing about Jesus is that He loves us despite ourselves. A.W. Tozer wrote, 'Jesus knows the worst about you. Nonetheless, He is the One who loves you most!' That love is aimed directly at you. We are the focus of Christ's love. He could save everyone right now. But He chose those who were ready to believe Him and respond to His calling - see John 5:1-30 for a wonderful illustration of how Jesus selected one person to bless with His love. Immediately after that there was controversy. The religious leaders asked the man who told you to take up your bed. They should have said who healed you! So mark it down, Jesus loves you - despite yourself and despite what anyone thinks
